A volunteer canine-rescue team found the body of Gordon Adlen, 74, was found about 6 a.m., lying in a stream, Los Angeles Sheriff’s Lt. Ken Wright said. “It appears that he drove down a dirt road heading to one of the ranches and got stuck trying to get his car out and walked a quarter mile away,” he said. “It appears he had fallen into a stream, gotten soaked and succumbed to hypothermia.” Adlen had become the subject of an all-night search after being reported missing by his son at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Wright said. last_img read more
